The Role

The position of Supply Chain Planner requires you to ensure all aspects of the supply chain are coordinated efficiently and accurately, playing a key role with the overall coordination of order output on time and in full.

Responsibilities:

Control of stock including control of the supply chain, stock management and logistics.
Ensuring that stock checks are completed, are accurate and are communicated effectively.
Ensure that stock availability is communicated and acted up on.
Ensure that stock is allocated correctly.
Analyse customer orders and provide timely feedback to the Operations Manager and Production Supervisors.
Ensuring that Production operations are fully aware of order requirements in a timely manner.
Liaise with the relevant departments regarding clearance and inter-site transportation of produce arrivals.
Tracking supplier performance and providing analysis on a weekly and monthly basis.


The Person
The successful candidate for the Supply Chain Planners position will have the following experience:
Degree educated or equivalent - Desirable
2 - 3 years' experience - Essential
Proven experience of working to strict deadlines with the ability to accurately and methodically multitask - Desirable

Direct management responsibility for the vehicle administration team
Ensuring the highest levels of data quality are maintained for all assets including technical drawing statutory records.
Working closely with internal / external customers to ensure maximum vehicle uptime is achieved during peak operating times with efficient communication between in house workshops and third party suppliers.
Ensuring the maintenance of the fleet is in compliance with Transport Engineering Standards and Legislative requirements.
Monitoring and reporting on asset / departmental spend.
Organising suppliers / end users to ensure new vehicles are brought into service as quickly as possible, with all required equipment fitted and registered.
Working with in-house maintenance teams to prepare vehicles for disposal / sale.
Reviewing and developing direct reports, identify any training needs in order to achieve continuous improvement within vehicle administration team.
Working closely with third party and specialist contractors to ensure contractual obligations and safety standards are being adhered to.
Providing admin support for the Fleet Management Team.
Carrying out projects / initiatives within job holder's capabilities as required.

As such we would like you to have:

Demonstrable supervisory / management experience from within a similar role preferably within the vehicle engineering sector.
Knowledge of relevant health & safety legislation, road transport law and engineering best practice.
The ability to collate accurate data sets and produce detailed reports to the wider management team.
Good written, verbal and IT communications skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Experience working with Gas / Petroleum of other hazardous goods
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to deliver complex projects.
Experienced in vehicle technologies and fuel management systems.
Experience in SAP Asset Management Systems.

We have an exciting internal opportunity to lead our PM shift warehouse team. Reporting directly to the Regional Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the day to day running of the warehouse PM shift to the highest standards demanded by the Health & Safety Act, the Food Act and our customers.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Train and develop your team to ensure consistent and high standards of performance in the picking, labelling and checking of all the orders that leave the fridge.
Constantly working on monitoring stock presentation on pallets and on shelving in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
Keep stock losses to a minimum through improved controls and constant monitoring, including malicious damage and theft.
Ensure that your team operates within agreed hygiene practices at all times and
support the telesales team by ensuring all stock has been correctly received, rotated, stored and labelled.
