Quality Assistant / Operative

My client who is a designer, manufacturer and distributer of flexible metallic tubing and hoses are recruiting for a Quality Assistant / Operative to join their manufacturing facility based in Worcestershire. The company has enjoyed great success over the years supplying their products to a wide range of Industries.
As a Quality Assistant / Operative you will be working directly with their Foreman/ Quality Manager and you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality system. You will support the Manager in completing all required Quality tasks which includes measuring products and completing quality assessment sheets.
Key Requirements:
•Knowledge and understanding of the ISO9001 quality management system (Essential)
•Experienced in quality inspection (Essential)
•Proficiency in the use of measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges etc) (Essential)
•Conversant in the use of Microsoft office programs (excel, word etc) (Essential)

Commercial Vehicle Prepper Painter



To work closely with the Supervisor of the Paint Shop.

Main Purpose Of The Job:

Experienced commercial vehicle Paint Sprayer required based in Droitwich. Working in a modern, busy paint shop. Experience of two-pack paint and the ability to produce high quality work is essential. Minimum 3 years experience.

Applications are invited from highly competent individuals who are keen to work in an extremely busy environment with a good variety of work.

Duties:

Prep to high standards.
Painting of commercial vehicles and components to achieve the highest standard of finish.
Excellent Hourly rate dependant on experience/ trade test.

Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm

Friday - 7.30am - 1.00pm

Overtime available (not compulsory) : 4.30pm - 5.30pm Monday- Thursday

Main Purpose Of The Job:
Duties will involve installing electrical systems for new recovery vehicles on light and heavy trucks.

Duties:
•Responsible for the electrical fitting/testing/fault finding on new recovery vehicles.
•Making up wiring loom junction boxes and ancillary equipment
•Assistance with hydraulics/ mechanical fitting
Personal Characteristics & Skills:

•Excellent organisation, time management and planning skills.
•Highly motivated.
•Confidence in their workmanship.
•Someone with a time served background in automotive electrical.
•Have a background within automotive/commercial vehicle, construction plant, truck bodywork or fork lift trucks..
•Ideally have 5 years experience within automotive electrics'
•Ideally have an HGV licence
•Ability to achieve results in a busy working environment
•Versatile, flexible and self motivated with a can do attitude
•Excellent communication skills.
•Good sense of humour
