Customer Service Advisor
Location:Solihull
Salary:17,582-17,921
Hours: Hours 38.75. Agents attend for an 8.5 hour day, but take a 45 minute Lunch, so work for 7.75 hours
• Three Shifts
oEarly . 08:00 to 16:30
oMid . 10:30 to 19:00
oLate . 11:30 to 20:00
• Saturdays - supported in the Early Week, with a Rest Day exchanged for a day in the week.



Due to expansion our client, who is a leader in their field, is looking for confident communicators to join their team. You will have excellent listening and written skills to resolve customer queries and issues. You will have previous customer service experience and our client will provide further training needed in order for you to be successful and offer progression within the role.

Day to day duties will include the following:
• Reaching out and speaking to customers to negotiate payment plans to make it affordable for them
• Taking payments over the phone
• Dealing with any other queries from a simple change of address to more complex issues
• Manage customers' expectations
• Update inhouse database
• Referrals to suitable charities if necessary

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
• Previous Customer Service, Call centre of collections experience
• A natural desire to help people
• Excellent inter personal skills able to deal with potentially emotive or difficult situations
• Proven track record of achieving targets
• Great attention to detail
• Computer literate
• Presentable and punctual

We are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to join a successful and well-established business based in Redditch. This a new role within the UK team which requires an individual with experience in logistics and transport planning. The planner will support the depot in the stock planning and will ensure all transport for orders is completed on time for customers.


This a Full Time, Permanent opportunity with a salary from 25,000 - 27,000 depending on experience.

Working hours Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm.

Holidays are 25 days + Bank Holidays
Free onsite parking

Key Accountabilities

1. Depot Stock planning
Using the forecast to maintain stocks within the UK depot ensuring supply for our customers.
Planning of the stock washing for inbound trays.
Working with other depots across Europe to order additional stock into the UK.

2. Transport planning
Organise transport for all orders, including domestic and import.
Ensure all transport actions are completed and priced correctly.
Work with new and existing transporters to ensure we continue excellent service.
Add new transporters into our system.
Report on activities completed with transporters.
Manage negotiation of transport prices with service providers.

3. Customer Service Support
From time to time there will be requirements to complete additional administrative tasks relating to our customers.

Skills and Experience needed:

Excellent verbal and written communication.
Logistic / Supply Chain experience.
Knowledge of UK transport providers.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience in SAP would be desirable.
Ability to perform well under pressure.
Planning and organising.
Pro-active.
Team player.

Hours: Full Time Monday to Thursday 7:30am till 5pm, Friday 7:30am till 3:30pm

Our client specialise in maintenance, repair specialist restoration work on large commercial vehicles and Steam Engines. Our premises are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery allowing us to cater to almost any requirement. Services offered include specialist CNC machining, vintage restoration and cylinder & crank grinding refurbishment.
Due to rapid growth we are looking for a CNC Setter Operator Programmer to program and run CNC machines. The candidate needs to be self-motivated and be ready to take on a challenge as a lot of are jobs are one offs which makes the job so varied and rewarding
Being a family run business, we try to get away from the factory felling of a work shop. We are more like a team. A lot of our work is special one off's and we do some small batch work

Day to day duties will include the following:
_Setting and operating XYZ miller and XYZ lathe with siemens control
_Experience working with large commercial cranks and cylinder heads (Grinding experience a bonus)
_Experience with a horizontal borer a BONUS
_Good Toolroom background experience a BONUS

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience
_Milling Turning experience
_Experience on XYZ lathe with Siemens control
_ Experience of working on large commercial crankshafts
