Day to Day Duties

•To receive, interrogate and interpret the customer call off.
•Respond, despatch and close calls in line with customer SLAs. (Service Level Agreements)
•Manage all customer reporting and billing preparation.
•Liaise with the Warehouse Manager regarding the provision of additional labour resource.
•Liaise with customers, Account Manager and Client Lead to manage stock reordering, projects and special requests.
•Coordinate with internal departments to plan and arrange delivery and installation teams where required.
•The role may include significant physical activity including picking, packing and building. (No heavy lifting)
•Follow and encourage company health and safety best practice.
•Work to continuously improve processes and efficiencies.
•Carry out other duties as reasonably required.


Essential

•Previous working knowledge of a warehouse and, or stores environment
•Sound Excel and MS Office applications knowledge (To be tested)
•Working knowledge of ERP and WMS applications
•Confident ability to communicate at all levels via telephone, face to face and by email.
•Ability to work independently and manage your own workload and priorities

Location: Bidford On Avon
Hourly: 15 - 20 per hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm
Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm

I am recruiting for a client who have been established since 1994 in providing precision engineering into OEM's and Machine Tool end users. They are currently looking to recruit for a Multi Skilled CNC Programmer Setter/ Operator (Miller/Turner). As the Programmer Setter/Operator you will be responsible programming on 4 & 5 axis machining centres with the ability to program using the latest CAD systems.
Day to day duties will include the following:
•Ability and aptitude to identify and address opportunities to maximise machine utilisation and uptime to meet demanding manufacturing schedules, to include multiple machine operation.
•Be capable of working with the minimum of supervision in the identification and execution of priorities and tasks set.
•Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and agreed targets.
•Reliable, consistent and punctual.
•Be a proactive team player.
•Able to maintain and monitor their own quality control using micrometers, Vernier's and gauges.
•Willingness to extend their own skill sets through Company sponsored training.

The Role
The position of Supply Chain Planner requires you to ensure all aspects of the supply chain are coordinated efficiently and accurately, playing a key role with the overall coordination of order output on time and in full.

Responsibilities:
Control of stock including control of the supply chain, stock management and logistics.
Ensuring that stock checks are completed, are accurate and are communicated effectively.
Ensure that stock availability is communicated and acted up on.
Ensure that stock is allocated correctly.
Analyse customer orders and provide timely feedback to the Operations Manager and Production Supervisors.
Ensuring that Production operations are fully aware of order requirements in a timely manner.
Liaise with the relevant departments regarding clearance and inter-site transportation of produce arrivals.
Tracking supplier performance and providing analysis on a weekly and monthly basis.


The Person
The successful candidate for the Supply Chain Planners position will have the following experience:
Degree educated or equivalent - Desirable
2 - 3 years' experience - Essential
Proven experience of working to strict deadlines with the ability to accurately and methodically multitask - Desirable
