Quality Assistant / Operative
9.00 per hour
My client who is a designer, manufacturer and distributer of flexible metallic tubing and hoses are recruiting for a Quality Assistant / Operative to join their manufacturing facility based in Worcestershire. The company has enjoyed great success over the years supplying their products to a wide range of Industries.
As a Quality Assistant / Operative you will be working directly with their Foreman/ Quality Manager and you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality system. You will support the Manager in completing all required Quality tasks which includes measuring products and completing quality assessment sheets.
Key Requirements:
•Knowledge and understanding of the ISO9001 quality management system (Essential)
•Experienced in quality inspection (Essential)
•Proficiency in the use of measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges etc) (Essential)
•Conversant in the use of Microsoft office programs (excel, word etc) (Essential)

Job title:Lead Quality Assurance

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Quality Assurance on behalf of a well-established manufacturer based in Worcestershire. This role will work alongside the QA Manager. Demonstrate leadership qualities within QA and across the business to drive improvement in quality metrics. The role requires a committed quality professional prepared to go the extra distance to inspire and lead quality improvement in a dynamic growing company.

Day to day duties will include the following:

_Strengthen QA team involvement to improve operator performance through coaching and training.
_Identify opportunities for process improvement, incorporating them into business practices.
_Confirm internal process compliance through internal audit and corrective action.
_Improve and develop supplier and subcontractor quality performance in conjunction with Purchasing department.
_Participate and progress personal and team objectives to aid continuous improvement throughout the business.
_Verify sustainability of corrective actions resulting from audit or improvement activity.
_Lead Special Process Engineering input into methods, data cards and processes.
_Participate in the evolution of the Business Management Systems to meet current and future aerospace standards.
_Provide accurate feedback to all areas of the business of internal/external audit findings.
_Liaise with special process, Laboratory and conformance to deliver cost effective methods of manufacture.
_Where prior customer approval is required provide first point of contact for change with customer.
_Adhering to AS9100 at all times.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

_Degree/HN qualified Materials or process related Engineering (Advantageous)
_Experience in Heat Treatment and Forging (Advantageous)
_Proven experience in an Aerospace Senior Quality related role (Advantageous)
_In depth knowledge of AS9100, Nadcap special process programmes (Essential)
_Proven track record of Aerospace prime quality and supplier management systems (SABRE 2/3, GRAMS etc.) (Advantageous)
_Metal hot forming process knowledge (Advantageous)
_Experience Quality system auditor (Essential)
_In depth appreciation of Aerospace material and processing specifications (Essential)
_Extensive problem-solving skills (Essential)

I am recruiting for a client sub contract machine shop who specialise in providing a bespoke and customised services across multiple market sectors. They are currently looking to recruit for a CNC Programmer Setter/ Operator. As the Programmer Setter/Operator you will be responsible programming on Fanuc controls.

Day to day duties will include the following:
•To write and prove out programs.
•To plan and implement the methodology of producing the relevant components
•To set and operate machines, when no programming is required (Lathes)
•For the successful candidate this may lead to the position of section leader

FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
_At least 3 years' experience CNC Programming - Essential
_Turning experience - Essential
_A general knowledge of tooling requirements, speeds, feeds etc - Essential
_A can do attitude and a good attention to detail - Essential
