To ensure that the company's products are labelled, packed and dispatched to the customer requirements in a timely, efficient and economical manner. Manage the Team leaders in their role to enable them to work productively.

Responsibilities and Duties

Ensure that production lines are set up with the day's works orders.
Monitor lateness and absenteeism.
Enforce Health & Safety and hygiene procedures.
To ensure that products are prepared and packed in a timely, efficient and economical way.
Allocate work to individuals and teams and check that duties are carried out to the highest standards.
Follow the guidelines of the Deputy Operations manager to decide the most appropriate and efficient method of working adhering to the company layout for optimum production.
Check samples regularly for accuracy, quality, presentation and compliance in accordance with Worksheets.
Record waste in accordance with procedures.
Ensure that the correct products and packaging is used in production runs.
Notify the Maintenance and Logistics Manager of any defects and problems relating to machinery. Record comments and actions in the appropriate liaison book.
To check and keep the Packhouse areas well organised, clean and tidy. Train and manage staff to do the same.
Train, develop, mentor and assist the Team Leaders.
To ensure prompt and accurate completion of all documentation.
To undergo training as and when required.
Be aware of and comply with Company and local fire evacuation procedures.
Make sure that stock accounting is actioned, and regular stock quantity and quality checks are made.

Strong Production Line Experience

Sunday-Thursday - day shift 6am -2pm

We have a position in our Technical Department for a QAA who will support the production process to ensure that we produce safe, legally compliant, high quality products.

Experience of working in an administrative role, knowledge of food safety procedures and having knowledge of Production, factory procedures & documentation would be advantageous.

Your duties will include -
- Conducting product quality assessments
- Ensuring products are produced to specification
- Conducting HACCP validation and verification checks

Ideally you will have -
_ Experience in a quality role
_ Basic Food Hygiene & Safety
_ Basic HACCP
_ Excellent communication skills
Sales Manager

30,000 to 35,000 Per Annum + Bonus - Depending on experience
8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
7am to 2pm Saturday (1 out of 3)

Day to day duties will include the following:

* Handling incoming queries from current customers
* Identifying new potential customers
* Following up on new leads
* Managing a sales team of 3 - setting targets and motivating the team to achieve weekly/Month targets
* Reporting to the operational manager and having weekly meetings
* Working closely with the warehouse
* Attending site meetings when needed

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience

* To be a resilient sales professional
* Proven experience working in the food produce industry
* Managed a small sales team previously
* Have a proven sales back ground
