£30000 - £34000 + Company bonus, Pension and a free lunch card for the canteen
Job Title: Site Services Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)
Salary: 30'000 - 34'000 P/A
Benefits: Company bonus, Pension and a free lunch card for the canteen 3.50 per day
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with a call out 1 week in 4

A versatile role that requires you to be part of a successful maintenance team, working as the site mechanical specialist, forming part of a cohesive unit that will provide support to all team members. Undertaking all other aspects of the site maintenance as required

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist mechanical knowledge
• To advise the site manager on engineering works and plan as needed
• Undertake planned maintenance; inspections, daily weekly and monthly
• Day to day frontline fault finding and repair work
• To support a 24 hour call out service
• Assist with contractor control and management
• Maintain accurate job and service records
• Service and maintain automated conveyer systems
• Installation of new electrical and non-electrical equipment
• Additional works are required by site manager

Skills:

• Mechanical - (C&G) Part 1 + 2 Mechanical or NVQ level 3 Mechanical City & Guilds or Level 3 Diploma in Engineering- Maintenance, Installation and Commissioning.
• Certification in welding an advantage
• Conveyer systems and robotics would also be an advantage
• Competent in Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Demonstrate a good track record of achieving results.
• Experience in planned Preventative Maintenance Systems
• Experience of working with an Ammonia Refrigeration Plant would be an advantage
• Previous experience working within production

Hours: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 07:30am-4:30pm, Friday 07:30am- 11:30am)

OVERVIEW & SCOPE OF ROLE:
This role is responsible for the set-up, operation, and programming of CNC Surface Grinding machines aswell as manual surface grinding machines. We require operators to be able to read customer drawings and have a high level of input into the manufacturing process. The preferred candidate will be an apprentice trained Engineer capable of working with good mechanical engineering skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES:
Operations
• Setting machines in accordance with H&S regulations and the process control plan
• Manual grinding, operating and setting
• CNC Surface Grinding using Fanuc & Siemens controls
• Interpreting component drawings to determine specifications
• Using measuring equipment to ensure components meet specification.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Day to day duties will include the following:
• Fanuc & Siemens control programming in ISO G code ESSENTIAL
• surface grinding
• Knowledge of manual handling
• Able to confidently work to engineering drawings.

Hours: 7pm - 6am

New opportunity to join a renowned precision engineering company who produce precision components for various sectors are currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer on Hurco Millers.
This is a great opportunity for a CNC programmer to join a company which is heavily investing in state-of-the-art new CNC technology. Along with training the company offers competitive pay, regular paid overtime available.

Day to day duties will include the following:
• Programming/setting/operating Hurco machining centres in a subcontract environment
• Producing small batch work (large parts - up to 3m)
• Time served and apprentice trained ADVANTAGE
• Producing components accurately to drawing tolerances and specifications
• Trimming and cutting to exact specifications

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
• Have track record of CNC Programming, setting and operating within a busy manufacturing environment, ideally with Hurco (Winmax) - experience
• Experience in reading complex engineering drawing and using modern inspection equipment (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience in aerospace, oil and gas subcontract environment (PREFERRED)
• Ability to problem solve and work to own initiative
