Job title: CNC Production Grinder
Location: Coventry
Hourly: 13.50 - 15 per hour + 20% shift allowance
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7.30pm - 6.00am


I am recruiting for a client who have specialised in providing precision engineering for the past 40 years into OEM's and Machine Tool end users. They are currently looking to recruit for a CNC Production Grinder, As the CNC Production Grinder you will be responsible for setting and operating Jones & Shipman Grinding machines on Fanuc controls.

Day to day duties will include the following:
•Ability to accurately interpret and work from engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards.
•Ability and aptitude to identify and address opportunities to maximise machine utilisation and uptime to meet demanding manufacturing schedules, to include multiple machine operation.
•Be capable of working with the minimum of supervision in the identification and execution of priorities and tasks set.
•Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and agreed targets.
•Reliable, consistent and punctual.
•Be a proactive team player.
•Include working with Jones & Shipman Format 5 CNC surface grinders.
•Experience on Jones & Shipman X & E surface grinders would be an advantage.

FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
_At least 3 years' experience CNC Production Grinder - Essential
_Fanuc controls experience - Essential
_A can-do attitude and a good attention to detail - Essential

Our client are a leading spark erosion specialists and component manufacturers. They require a EDM Wire Eroder for their busy operations.
Day to day duties will include the following:

•Operation and setting of Sodick Wire Erosion machines (Essential)
•Working to very tight tolerances (Essential)
•Setting parts using test indicators (Essential)
•Measuring parts ensuring compliance and correct to customer drawings (Essential)
•Reading, understanding and interpreting engineering drawings (Essential)
•Ensure quality checks are carried out with exceptional attention to detail (Essential)

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

•Previous experience of using edm wire eroding machines effectively and correctly (Essential)
•Some 2D Cad design experience - however training will be provided (Essential)
•Experience of setting using test indicators (Essential)
•Able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings (Essential)
•Excellent eye for detail and able to work to tight tolerances (Essential)

CNC Programmer for an Established Automotive Company

Day to day duties will include the following:

•CNC Programmer, Setter, Operator
•Online and Offline Programming
•Generate programs with use of CADCAM (ONECNC)
•Program, Set and Operate Hurco CNC Machines (Lathes and Mills)

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

•Proven experience in industry
•Must be able to read CAD drawings
•Good computer skills
•Proactive approach
•Must be hands on with tooling and Machine programming
•Understand technical drawings
•Toolmaking experience
