Job Title: Legal Secretary

Location: Worcester

Pay Rate: 19,000-22,000DPOE

Hours: Monday- Friday 9am - 5pm

This growing firm are looking for a Legal Secretary to join them on a full-time, permanent basis at their firm based in Worcester.

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Provide diary management and support
• Arrange meetings
• Submit land registry applications
• Submit SDLT applications

Previous experience and skills:

• Excellent customer service attitude
• Be able to provide updates to clients, brokers and agents
• Must have experience in residential properties

Job Title: Criminal Solicitor                                                                                                  Location: Worcester

Shift: 4 on 4 off – Rotation                                                                                                   Pay Rate: £35,000 DPOE                                                                            

We are currently recruiting a Criminal Solicitor for our client based in Worcester.

What’s your average day?

• Ensuring the client is dealt with and matter and documents are completed.
• Maintaining files in a neat and orderly state and ensure each file is reviewed.
• Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all company and client documentation.
• Dealing with all client enquiries and ensure all client complaints are dealt with in accordance with the company’s complaints procedure.
• Obtaining clear and precise communications between yourself and other members of staff.
• Ensuring the quality of work produced by support staff is of a high standard.
• Taking positive steps to market the services of the company.
• Participating in departmental and other meetings.

Who can do this?

• Must be at least 2 years PQE.
• Proficient in administration and using Microsoft packages.
• Ability to work as part of a team and alone at own initiative.

 What’s your average day?

• Dealing with client and professional telephone enquiries.
• Opening and closing of files.
• Preparing and checking standard documents within Case Management system
• Preparing quotes for clients.
• Assisting the Fee Earner with completions.
• Preparing Land Registry Applications
• Ordering searches

Who can do this?

• Experience in Commercial Property is essential.
• Experience using Land Registry and HMRC.
• Must have a proficient level of literacy and numeracy.
• Must be IT literate with experience of Microsoft Office.
• Be confident when working alone or as part of a team.
