What’s your average day?

• Property and land registry searches
• Preparing financial statements
• Assisting with file management
• Complete land registry and SDLT returns
• Filing, storage and retrieval of deeds
• Maintain fee earners diary

Key skills for this role

• Great level of literacy and numeracy
• Touch and audio typist
• IT literate
• Pro active
• Experience of using land registry and submitting SDLT’s

Job Title: Solicitor – Residential Conveyancing      

Location: Worcester

Pay Rate: £25,000 DPOE

This is a great opportunity for a conveyancing solicitor to join this growing and passionate team. The role will require you to work in a fast paced environment with knowledge of handling own case files with support from secretarial staff.

What’s your average day?

• Managing and handling own files with little to no support
• Raising and responding to enquiries
• Updating clients and other sides solicitors on progress
• Completions of all aspects of conveyancing – sales, purchase, new build and re mortgages
• Answering calls and responding to emails

Key skills for this role

• Must be pro active
• IT literate with experience of Microsoft packages
• Experience of handling own case files
• Strong communication skills

Pay Rate: £30,000 DPOE

Workforce Professional are recruiting for a Solicitor to join this busy Residential conveyancing department based in Worcester. You will be providing legal support to clients and carrying files from initial instruction through to completion.

What’s your average day?

• Sales, purchases, leasehold transactions, new build sales and purchases and re mortgages.
• Carrying out work to the highest standard
• Time recording, billing, disbursements, collection of bills and confidentially
• Updating clients
• Handling telephone calls
• Ensuring complaints are dealt with
• Maintaining neat files and that they are reviewed regularly

Key skills for this role

• Must be pro active
• IT literate with experience of Microsoft packages
• Experience using legal software – SOS would be an advantage
• Confident when talking on the phone
• High attention to detail
