Job Title: Legal Conveyancing Secretary/Receptionist

Location: Balsall Common

Shift: Preferred hours of work are Monday to Friday 9:30am to 2:30pm (OR Monday and Wednesdays 9:00am – 5:15pm but other hours up to full time may be considered)                                              

Pay Rate: £19,000 - £23,000 DPOE

We are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary on a permanent basis for a growing firm in Balsall Common. This role will be 50:50 between Secretarial duties and Front of House.

What’s your average day?

• Audio and copy typing
• Switchboard calls
• Preparing contracts, deeds and mortgage documentation
• Using the land registry portal to submit applications
• Dealing with clients via telephone and in person
• Taking messages
• Office duties
• ID and money laundering checks

 Who can do this?

• Experience in Conveyancing and as a legal secretary is essential
• A full UK driving licence with own vehicle
• Excellent IT skills
• Use of Microsoft Packages

Pay Rate: From £17,500 DPOE                    

We are currently recruiting for an office administrator to join a thriving firm based in Ludlow. You will be providing admin services to the business, ensuring tasks are undertaken in a timely manner.

What’s your average day?

• To assist the office partner
• Provide general admin support
• Opening, closing, sorting and storing files and deeds
• Provide finance support, raising purchase orders and checking invoices
• Processing post
• Cover reception area
• Allocate car parking
• Ensuring the office and reception area is always tidy
• Assisting the on boarding of new starters
• Oversee appointment and diary management

Who can do this?

• Must have a proficient kevel of literacy and numeracy
• Experience of working in an office environment
• IT literate with experience of Microsoft Office packages
• High level of attention to detail
• Focused on achieving goals
• Highly motivated

We are currently recruiting for a Conveyancing Assistant to work for our client on a full time basis, while this isn't a paralegal role we are looking for someone who has good demonstrable knowledge of conveyancing processes as well as strong secretarial skills.

What's your average day?

• Submitting SDLT's and documents to Land Registry
• Audio typing
• Managing 2 fee earners diaries
• Supporting fee earners with work loads
• Updating clients, mortgage brokers and agents
• Opening and closing files
• ID checks and Money laundering checks
• Ordering searches

Who can do this?

• Experience with Land Registry applications and SDLT is essential
• Must have experience in case management systems
• Audio typing skills is essential
• Experience in a similar role
