Accounts Assistant

Droitwich
£22,000 Per Annum
Temporary - 12 month cover
Full time
Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5pm

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's friendly team, who love to work hard while not taking themselves too seriously! The role requires you to use good accounting knowledge together with a diverse number of general Administration skills to assist with the general day to day running of the business.

 

Duties Include:
* Assisting the Accounts Dept. with all aspects of the Accounting function as required
* Processing sales invoices/ credit notes, Daily posting of receipts, Credit Control.
* Processing Purchase invoices/Credit Notes
* Day to Day banking and bank reconciliations.
* Monitoring employee's absence levels, sickness, holidays and time keeping
* To assist with inputting of Holiday/Flexi-time data
* To assist in general office administration.
* To provide admin assistance to Purchaser when required including ordering Credit Card orders, consumables etc.
* To arrange and control within budgetary limits all Company travel and meeting arrangements for staff and visitors. This covers both internal and external meetings and will involve liaising both with internal staff and outside persons (travel agents, customers etc.) and use of information resources, such as the Internet.

The successful candidate for the Accounts Assistant role will have the following skills and experience:
* Experience within a similar Bookkeeper/ Accounts Assistant role
* Experience using SAGE 200 ( Or any of the Sage systems )
* Experience with invoicing, sales & purchasing.
* Strong IT skills, and confidence in working with, MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to build relationships quickly
