CNC Programmer / Machinist - Contractor

Due to the continuing success of our JUDD engines in historic F1 and sportscar series and expansion into other racing categories and prototype manufacturing programs, we are looking for an enthusiastic CNC programmer / machinist to join our team programming and manufacturing precision parts. We are looking for a contractor to fulfill this role for an initial period of 6 months, which may be extended.

The ideal candidate will currently regularly be responsible for programming CNC milling machines. Preferably you will be conversant with Fanuc controlled CNC milling machines and Edgecam CAM software.

Training will be given where necessary but a positive attitude towards quality and deadlines is vital, as is the ability to use your own initiative and integrate into a highly experienced and dedicated team producing work to the highest standards.

This is a full time, factory based role with a 40 hr working week and no shifts.

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector who is looking for a new exciting new challenge in the Czech Republic?
Our client has a contract supporting a customer in the automotive industry with a 6 month fixed contract on offer for Quality & CNC contractors looking for a new role.

Benefits including an excellent hourly rate of up to 25 p/h, a minimum of 39 hrs per week guaranteed. However due to high workload and deadlines on current contracts, there is a lot of overtime available.
Responsibilities for the role include -
-Control plans set up
-Working with members of CMM team look at issues with parts and work directly with CNC Setters to make changes to any issues
- Log and update controlled and documented data
-create measurement reports
-Investigate how part interacts with itself and make suggestions for adjustments
-Great care and attention to detail

All expenses in term of flights, travel and accommodation will be paid for or claimed back on a weekly basis.
We would love to hear from you if-
-Body in white experience
- 3 years minimum experience as a quality inspector

Contract length: 6 months fixed term (with potential of opportunities after that period)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: 16.00-30.00 per hour

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer / Miller Setter Operator who is looking for a new exciting new challenge in the Czech Republic?
Our client has a contract supporting a customer in the automotive industry with a 6 month fixed contract on offer for CNC contractors looking for a new role.
Benefits including an excellent hourly rate of up to 30 p/h, a minimum of 39 hrs per week guaranteed. However due to high workload and deadlines on current contracts, there is a lot of overtime available.
Responsibilities for the role include -
-Managing loading and unloading of the CNC machines (all aluminum materials)
-Current machining cycles run for around 3 hours so machinists will be expected to use their knowledge and skill to look at how programmers are working, look at speeds and feeds and find improvements to make it run faster.
-Great care and attention to detail- this is a high value product so Machinists will need experience with low batch work and working to tight tolerances.
- Working together with the quality team you will be identifying adjustments that may need to be made to programs
-Edit and program creates offsets
-Make entries into log books explaining what changes have been made and keeping work admin organized

-Experienced with Siemens or fanuc controls
-Experience working to tight tolerances and low batch work 1 offs, 2 offs

CNC Programmer Miller

Professional Sub-contract precision machining company working within various sectors including aerospace, metrology, rheology, semi-conductor and oil & gas. We have a small team that work to tight deadlines and offers job variety at a fast pace. Batches range from 4 offs to larger batches.
As a CNC Engineer, you have:
• A minimum of 4 years' experience programming CNC Millers and Lathes
• Experience on Fanuc(G-Code) controls

Global leading supplier & manufacturer of high integrity bolting, primarily supplying into the petrochemical, oil & gas and energy industries. They are currently looking to recruit for a CNC Programmer (lathes), As the CNC Programmer you will be responsible for setting and operating using Fanuc controls working with mild steels to super alloys.

Day to day duties will include the following:
• Ability to accurately interpret and work from engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards.
• Must have experience operating and setting CNC Lathes.
• Experience with Fanuc controls.
• Experience in the production of one-off to 5k batches of fasteners would be advantageous.
• Must be able to work from technical drawings.
• Be able to conduct first off quality inspection
• Be able to ensure that batches are produced at a consistent quality for the duration of the run.
