A leading global FMCG client are looking to recruit for a Warehouse Supervisor to work alongside and support their in-house dispatch function. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Quality Control team along with training and development of individual and new team members.

Salary: From 20,000 - 25,000 p.a.

The Role
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team to ensure dispatch activities are carried within the allocated time period. You will be responsible for ensuring you drive productivity by allocating appropriate tasks throughout the team.

Responsibilities:
Liaising with Production and Procurement across all sites to achieve out-loading schedules.
Responsible for O.T.I.F delivery of all customers.
Controlling of loading bays & that the operation of these comply with H&S regulations.
Responsible for pallet control/reconciliation.
Responsible for the leadership of his/her team to deliver the customer objectives, using excellent communication techniques using, team meetings, disciplinarians, absence counselling & health and safety audits.
Management of dispatch team leaders, key colleagues and operatives.
Ensuring load plans, temperature checks, and maximum pallet utilization is undertaken and paperwork is filed & passed onto the relevant departments.

The Person
The successful candidate for the Warehouse Supervisors position will have the following experience:
A minimum of two years experience working within a transport & logistics environment - Essential
Working within a FMCG/Food environment - Desirable

To support expansion plans and increased commercial activity this well-established Laser company is looking to recruit a highly experienced innovative and enthusiastic Power Electronics Engineer to design and develop electronic power systems, whilst working within a busy multi-disciplinary engineering R & D team. The position will focus on the design, build and test of power electronics systems for high-power and high voltage, switched-mode power supplies from an initial design specification and oversee their implementation into production.

Day to day duties will include the following:
• You will be responsible for generating conceptual designs based on technical specifications for high- power and high voltage, switched-mode power supplies.
• Circuit simulation and optimisation.
• Design and simulate power electronics circuits including physical layout.
• Design interface, gate drive and control PCBs creation and verification of embedded control software.
• Assist in building of prototype power electronics and control systems and testing to verify simulation.
• Participate in the creation of functional specifications, and test procedures.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in functionality and manufacture.
• To review, update, alter or redesign current electrical items as defined/specified by the head of the Research and Development Team.

The successful candidate will need the following qualities and experience:
• Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
• Broad hardware (analogue and digital) electronic engineering design skills
• Good understanding of power electronics and ability to comprehensively understand customer requirements
• Strong communication, teamwork and leading abilities
• Analytical and conceptual capabilities
• Good written and oral English
• Confident in presenting to management and technical specialists
• Knowledge of the design of high voltage components (power supplies, DCDC converters, inverters, chargers etc)
• Experience in rapid prototyping systems, DOORS, Simulink, Matlab, Vector tools and a hardware design simulation tool.
• Liaising with Manufacturing, Quality team and Supply Chain team to understand current issues and help find solutions.
• Testing and development support of the product life cycle to ensure ongoing quality expectations.
• Project Management

The successful applicant will also be an analytical, organised thinker with the ability to work both alone and in a team environment, and have good time/project management skills.

Hours: Sunday - Thursday 7am - 5pm
Responsibilities will include:
Supervision and ongoing operational performance of a team of warehouse and pack house staff including support staff.
Ensuring that all information and systems required for the accuracy and ongoing effectiveness of the prophet data input system is managed correctly.
To work within a delivery, production output schedule.
To analyse the ongoing performance of the operation and staff ensuring high levels of performance and output.
The schedule orders effectively, maximising efficiencies and operational throughput.
Ensuring the ongoing accuracy of all customer specific data including label management and product identification.
Cross training and developing staff, provide support and ensure that team members are instructed and supervised effectively.
Ensuring the total stock traceability is maintained throughout the intake and dispatch of all stock using the ERP electronic data capture system.
The Person
The successful candidate for the Production Line Leaders position will have the following experience:
3-5 years' experience within a warehouse or packhouse environment in a FMCG supervisory capacity is essential.
Experience in prophet data input systems is essential including data input, reconciliation and reports - Essential
An understanding of supply chain for exotic fruits and vegetables - Desirable
